Can I duplicate a project?
I would like to know if I can duplicate a project so I can make a video in fast motion and another one of the same video in regular speed? I want to have two versions of the same video.

Re: Can I duplicate a project?
I've only been working with VS8 a month, but I can immediately think of 2 ways to do what you want.
After you finish editing the regular speed version, export/share it, save to your computer. When it's done, click the edit tab to take you back. The original regular speed movie is still there. Just change the speed of it then click the Share tab again and export it again, saving it as different name than the first clip.
Or if you want to save the Regular speed clip for playing around with later, under the File tab at the top, choose Save As and it will save the project as is and you can open it any time.

Re: Can I duplicate a project?
But to answer the original simple question: yes you can make a copy of a project by going to File > Save As and assigned a different name to it. This will not affect the original version.
