Hi-
I wish to use Edge>Edge Effects>Find All. The problem is that the edges get put on a white background and I would like it on a transparent background. There seemingly is no way to set this up in the first place, so now I am left with taking out the white and making it transparent. Obviously, I am a nube, could someone tell me how to accomplish this?
Thank you.

Re: How to get white to transparent
The first idea that comes to mind, is to just use the magic wand selection tool. Set the match mode to Color or RGB. Set the tolerance to zero. Make sure "Contiguous" is deselected.
Then click on the white area. It should select everything that matches white exactly. If it doesn't quite give the result you're hoping for try adjusting the tolerance up slowly. No more than 1 or 2 steps per attempt.
