Printing Grid Lines

Post by CottageCelebrations »

I do cake decorating and created different grids in inches to determine the size and number cake servings for different size sheet cakes. Super slick!!!

Question: Is there a fast and easy way to print the grid or draw lines on the grid without drawing each line separately?

Using Paint Shop ProX5

Thank you.

I don't think there is any setting that allows you to print an image with the Grid showing.

I have two very bad methods that might work.

1) Take a screen shot of your image with the guides. If you don't need a huge image with good quality. This would work.

or

2) Run this script. It was made for version 17, though I think it should still work for version 15 of PSP.

It makes a grid of vector lines. 1 pixel width, black in color. Really begins to slow down on larger images if you set a small grid size.

To run you want to add the MakeGrid.PSPScript file into your 'Scripts-Restricted' folder.

This is traditionally found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Documents\Corel PaintShop Pro\15.0\Scripts-Restricted

Then open up your script toolbar, select "MakeGrid" from the drop down list. And press the blue play button.

You can edit the vector properties after the fact if the lines are too thin or you need them a different color.
