Y800 codec available?
I have a 640x480 progressive monochrome video camea that produces the Y800 format AVI file. Is there a codec available to allow VideoStudio to trim and save a segment?

If you have an AVI file in that format, it has to have been encoded using a compatible codec.
Unless it's an encode-only codec (there are a few, such as the FRAPS codec), you should be able to trim the video and save it back in the same format. Even if it is an encode-only codec, you can still generate an AVI file in a more common format by selecting a different codec using Share -> Create Video File -> Custom -> AVI -> Options -> Compression.
