Audio Ducking Issue

Post by RobertOZ »

Hopefully this issue will be very easy to resolve, but for the life of me I can't work it out.

Ok, I have my project nicely set up in the timelines and all music added to the audio tracks, now, I want to apply audio ducking to one particular clip, so I right click on the audio track and select audio ducking, nothing wrong so far and it works as it should, However, I no longer see the video content for any of the project, all I see is the path names from where the videos have been sourced. Looking at the Demo video provided by Yvonne, I noticed the same problem, so is there a way to have the video track display the content correctly.

Hi Robert

As soon as you apply Audio Ducking the timelines switch to Sound Mixer mode and that displays the wave forms of All clips including the video clip.

I suppose Corel could alter the program to allow us to view the video clip in sound mixer mode, that would mean a fix on their part.
Certainly nothing can be done with the current program?

Thanks Trevor, I knew it would be something simple, pity the Demo Video and the PDF do not explain fully the full sequence required

clicking on the sound mixer icon again takes you out of audio view and back into video view - exactly the same as if you were doing any other audio work then wanted to continue editing

You cannot see the video in audio mode in any version that I have used.
