Problem Resizing Path Object

Post by sting »

I created a path object that is basically some lightening.. Whwn I try and resize it using the transform tool I get the bounding box around the lightening
but when I drag the baox to resize it either clips the object if I am trying to shrik it or crates duplicates of the object when I enlarge it... I can successfully resize any path object that I copy out of the easypalette jus not the one I created... Any ideas ???

I cannot reproduce the effect you are describing. Can you email the ufo file? Which version PI do you use?

Select the Path Object you want to resize, right click on the object, and from the Menu Item List select Properties. In the Object Properties Dialog Box select the tab named Position and Size, under the attribute named Size, change the width and height.

Problem Resizing Path Object

I still have the file that I was having problems with... I tried going to properties and changing the width and height there as well and had the same problems with the object getting clipped or duplicated if I increased the size...

I recreated the path object and sized it to the proper size and rotated it to the position I needed it in without problem....

I now suspect that the problem I had with the first file was caused by multiple transforms that had been done to it including conversion to an image and back to a path object several times...

I was using Photoimpact 10 to do this....
