Orange Trim Markers
Is there a way to get a more accurate edit with the orange trimer markers in x5? When I slide them, I can get accurate to about 2 seconds of editing. I want to get accurate within seconds. Is there an option to dial in the trim markers at a more finesse point?

Re: Orange Trim Markers
I guess that what I would do is increase the timeline to show frame by frame. Then you could line up the trim markers exactly where you want. Then later, when they are set, you could change the timeline back to how it was before. To expand the timeline, put your cursor in the timeline, hold down the Ctrl key and scroll forward with the mouse wheel until the video won't expand any further. To shrink the video, scroll the wheel backwards (while still holding the Ctrl key).

Hi
If you are referring to removing frames from the ends of our clips then use the Digital clock to set the curser position, frame by frame, with clip selected, F3 / F4 are Mark-in Mark-Out, can use the Square Brackets next to Scissors. This will remove all frames to end of clip.
A little more info from my Corel Guide (the colour of that bar may have changed)

Re: Orange Trim Markers
How do you cut a segment out of a video file called TEST.MP4 that is 12 minutes long? Say I want to take out 2 minutes in the middle? I want to avoid clipping the video down before the point I want the stuff removed, then adding in the same file TEST.MP4 and starting that file where I want to pick up.
Can I do some marker highlight at a starting and ending point then hit delete?

-position the cursor at the start of the segment you want to remove and click the scissors.
-now move the cursor to the end of the segment you want to remove and click the scissors.
