ASP license, how many installations?

Hi guys,

I just wonder on how many computer I am allowed to install ASP. I did not quite understand the EULA, so I am asking here.
I mainly use it on my desktop computer for editing my raws. But when I read tutorials or manuals, I just want to do this on
the sofa, rather than in the office, so I would like to use my netbook for this. I read something in the EULA, one user, one machine,
but I wonder if it would be ok installing it on the desktop and a netbook, but using it only on one machine at the same time.

Visits from Corel employees are quite rare and tend to be only people like developers and programmers - everyone else (including admins and moderators) on these forums are voluntary users not paid by Corel at all.

Hi Brian,

thanks a lot for this information, I wasn´t aware about that.
Since I do not want to pay for a support question like this, I will leave it as it is
and just use it at my desktop PC.

Can you copy the relevant paragraph of the EULA and post it here, please -- I don't have the program so can't access the EULA. Usually, for image processing programs Corel allows installation on up to three computers, though you are supposed to only use one computer at a time... But the ASP licence could possibly be different.

The Corel web site states:

* ASP Pro 2 has a multi-platform license (One license is usable on all three platforms)
* ASP 2 a single platform license

But even in the Pro version the license in the software menu restricts the usage to one installation.

Here is the relevant part I found in the EULA:

GRANT OF LICENSE: Licensor grants to you this personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-assignable license solely to use in a single copy of the Software on a single computer or device for use by a single concurrent user only, and solely provided that you adhere to all of the terms and conditions of this EULA.

But I just saw, that this is in the part of the Third Party DivX EULA, and not in the General EULA. I couln´t find there any part which describes exactly
what is allowed and what not.
