Quick Survey - ASP Update & Plugins

Post by Alex Brazeau »

Hi everyone,

Link below to a quick survey I'm hoping you can fill out.

We're making improvements to AfterShot Pro in an upcoming update and sometimes this means plug-ins will become inaccessible until they too can be updated. To help our team and the community of plugin developers prioritize plug-in development in advance of a pending AfterShot update, we'd like you to tell us which plugins you rely on as part of your AfterShot or AfterShot Pro workflow. Our goal is immediate support for as many plugins as soon as possible and your responses can help the development community and the Corel Photo team as we work to get things ready for the release. We'd love to hear from you and I promise the survey won't take more than a couple of minutes, here's the link: http://goo.gl/forms/vmwf0ePqE5

Thanks!

The survey would have been even quicker if we didn't have to click every plugin we don't use! (i.e. default)

The last question isn't as straight forward as I hoped. At least not for me. Actually the answer on the last question has a lot of if's...

The reason I'm still on the 32 bit ASP is because of the Grad Filter Pro, and the asGPS (plugin not listed), so;

if the new update is just a minor one, I might not need to update for a while
if the new update has some cool new features, I still have to wait for the Grad Filter to be updated
if the new update finally has a gradient selection tool for layers, I'm updating faster than the file can be downloaded...

Also hoping for something better than the Perfectly Useless Noise Removal tool

...but then; Just wishful thinking

yes last question's answer for me: I wait with any update until all the plugins I use are available.

And please report the results here.

I'm not sure what "immediate support as soon as possible" might mean :mrgreen:
