Curious? Problem X8 to keep video!

Post by alfons »

Today I have tried to save a video in a folder but, it doesn't give a chance to do it! I can't see the option of were to keep the video.
I go to Share, I choose ( for example) MPEG-2, but below, after profile and properties, nothing. It doesn' show the options were to keep the file!
I mean the long rectangles with the options to keep videos in.
Thanks.

The option to name the file and choose a folder for it is as ringed in red on the attachment below alfons

if you cannot see them then use the slider at the very right hand edge of the screen to move the screen up a bit - see second image below

Ok.It's my fault!
But I have another more seripous problem.
When I try to render a film, I mean make it into a media file MPEG-2, MPEG-4, AVHCD or another, the programme (X8) stops after a few minuites and it gives me the message
that it has a problem and must close! And it closes X8 completely.
Any idea?

What are the full properties of the files in your timeline - please right click over one of them and choose 'properties' - copy them and post all on here please.

then what properties are you wishing to render to.

Ok.
I want to render to AVC/H.264 to have a very good quality to convert to other formats after.

This evening I tried to renderize the same project with X5 and it did the job.
When I tried to do it in X8 after a while the programme shutted. I tried 3 times and still the same!!!
Why?
