Cannot install updates for PSP X7

I've had PSP X7 since December. Now when I open it, I get a message that I need to update to SP2. I've downloaded both SP1 and SP2, but neither will install. I just get various error messages, one saying that the system cannot find the Cor6284.tmp file.

I cannot find any way for Corel to help me except to pay for it. If the app isn't updating, I don't see why I should have to pay Corel because of this. Does anyone here know why this is happening?

One other alternative (if the SP does not want to install) would be to uninstall PSP completely and re-install it using a fresh download of the trial version. If you have the license, you can just use it and the most recent download file already includes those two SP.

Of course, it also means you have to save your workspace ahead of time and possibly have to still do some resetting once you re-install it. That is what i did and it saved me some headaches.

You can also download and use the Clean Tool to remove PSPX7 from the post above. Once you have used the clean tool, roboot your PC and reinstall PSP.
