I have PSP X7 (17.2.0.16) x64. My laptop has a NVIDIA GT555M GPU installed, and I have told Windows to run PSP with the GPU. When I monitor it using the NVIDIA tool in the toolbar, it says that no programs are using the GPU. If I set Aftershot Pro 2 the same way and run it, the NVIDIA tool shows that ASP uses the GPU. Should PSP use the GPU and if so, how can I get it to do so?
Thanks for your help.

Re: PSP X7 doesn't use NVIDIA GPU?
Corel made a claim on PSP X4 that there was GPU optimization- I haven't been able to find any mention in X5, X6, or X7. Since there is no control in the Preferences for GPU acceleration or Open CL in PSP, I'm presuming there is none. To my knowledge, the only two Corel programs that have GPU acceleration options are Video Studio and Aftershot Pro. I have Aftershot Pro 1 & 2 and there is a selection in the Preferences menu for it. Same with another non-Corel program DxO Optics Pro.
So it appears to me that whether you have AMD or Nvidia there is no GPU acceleration in PSP.

OK, thanks. I assumed that any modern s/w would use the GPU. Thanks
