I have two projects currently being edited with titles (text).
I am using the same FONT (Comic Sans MS), colour (white), font size (60) and border (2.0 black). and both BOLD yet text displays about twice as large in one project than the other.
How can this happen? Is there another setting somewhere which could be affecting this?
I can add some screen shots if required (takes a bit of doing as I have to upload them to a web site, find the url and then add the url here - that's why I haven't done it yet).

Re: Text size changes between projects
Although you may have set an exact font size if you change the size of the text box in the preview window by dragging the yellow corner boxes it will change the size of the font to fit in the new box size
Why are you using that convoluted method to add attachments -- take your screen shot as .bmp , ,jpg, or ,png and upload the image straight to the forum using the "upload attachment" option - no need for external websites

Re: Text size changes between projects
Hi John
Are the two projects using the same properties?
A standard definition project using 720 x 576 will show larger text than a 1920 x 1080 project, given the same text settings.

Re: Text size changes between projects
Thanks Brian and Trevor.
Trevor you solved it.
I have no idea but the project properties (and resolution) are different.
Thanks again
And thanks to Brian for explaining how to easily upload an image.
John
I just checked and found that of the 10 projects I am working on (covers a 4 week driving tour of England last September) only one had the incorrect project properties. Don't know how I did that but thankfully it is now sorted out.

Re: Text size changes between projects
Hi John
Well if you are now working with High Definition video you may best updating your program to use X8. The later versions do control project properties better than X6. If you can get hold of X7 at a good price that would do you…
I would have advised to download the trial except Corel have reduced its functionality that so it does not use HD render or burn any discs.
Neither can you open your existing projects so would have to start a new as a test.
Although using the trial will allow you a look at the different format.

Re: Text size changes between projects
Thanks Trevor,
I only became aware of VSX8 yesterday. I recently was wondering when X8 would be released as it is about 12 months since X7 was released.
Yes I now am using HD video.
