Project Playback Skips to End
Hello all. I hope someone can help me. I had VX6 and upgraded to VX8, but I have the same problem. I have a video clip and audio clip. When I playback on just the video or audio clip, all is fine. However, if I try and playback the project, The playback will jump to the end and never play anything. It is very frustrating and I can't figure out a solution. I would greatly appreciate any help that can be offered. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum!
Unfortunately, it is impossible to offer any solution straight off as you have told us nothing about exactly what type of video and audio you have in the project, or where it came from. So please right click on the video track in the timeline and copy all its Properties here, or take a screen grab of the Properties box and upload it here as an attachment. Then do the same for the audio clip.
You also tell us nothing about your computer. Some of the more recent video formats require fairly powerful computers to play and edit them. That's one of the reasons why, during the registration process for the forum, we ask people to provide such details. So can you let us know something about your computer. Better still, you could edit your Profile and add those details there. That way we won't have to always ask for those details if you come back here with further questions...
In addition, have you applied any filters to the project? And what are you trying to produce?

Re: Project Playback Skips to End
Thanks for the offer. I have actually given up and returned back to Fraps for recording and that has always worked fine in VS. For some reason, and I suspect its the mutli channel audio, any video recorded from Dxtory or Mirillis Action cause me issues in VS. Regarding my PC, its an i7, Nvdia GTX 770 (3G RAM), 16G RAM... processing power is not the issue.

OK -- thanks for letting us know. FWIW, I have amended your Profile to add the details about your computer you included in your last post. That way we won't have to ask again if you come back with any further questions.
