DNG not being read

Post by fbcorvus »

I downloaded a sample picture from a new camera and when trying to load it into Aftershot, after the operation nothing had happened. No error message, yet in the same directory a sample RAF file loads no problem. Is it because Corel for some unexplained reason must have knowledge of the camera it was taken with? Anybody got a good explanation?

AfterShot needs to be profile for each camera to make sense of the data in the file. Just because the container format is known, does not mean it is usable for AS.
