PSP X2 to PSP X6 Update Offer?
I have PSP Photo X2, and the update box has been coming up telling me of an offer to update X2 to X6 for 19.99 USD! When I click on the offer link it directs me to a page to buy Corel PSP Photo X6 for 65.75 GBP? There is some discrepancy in price? 19.99 USD is approx. 13.46 GBP. Is this offer genuine or some kind of security scam? Can anyone explain, please?

Re: PSP X2 to PSP X6 Update Offer?
Oddly enough, that link takes me to a page displayed initially in NZ$ (I live in New Zealand) offering X6 to me for NZ$29.15. When I change the currency to US$ -- see attached image -- the price is $19.99 and when I change it to pounds, it comes out as 12.99... In other words, I get the advertised price, so I cannot understand why you are not getting the same...

Re: PSP X2 to PSP X6 Update Offer?
I have checked that link again, and tried various currencies. No info on the offer update on this link? X6 now says 59.99 GBP, 79.99 USD, and 99.00 NZD??? Nothing about an upgrade offer for 19.99 USD? I am going to do a screenshot of the 2 small boxes about the 19.99 offer, and I will post it here. I am not letting this go as their is something not right here? Can you please stay with me on this. I have already contacted Corel with email on this.Ken Berry wrote:Oddly enough, that link takes me to a page displayed initially in NZ$ (I live in New Zealand) offering X6 to me for NZ$29.15. OK. Try this. When I click on your link it takes me to the page in my image above. And the link address there when I select US Dollar is shown https://store.paintshoppro.com/1184/?sc ... currencyId . When you click on "my" link, what do you get?

The link shows X6 price 99.0 NZD. Here is the screenshot that I took with my camera. I could not use PSP to capture screenshot while these boxes were open. The top left box opens first, click 'learn more' and the 2nd opens, and the button 'Buy Now' follows to the webpage.

Re: PSP X2 to PSP X6 Update Offer?
Sorry -- you must have seen my last post before I edited it. Stupidly I first included the same link as you provided, but then realised that when I changed the currency, a different URL came up. So I edited my post and substituted that one. Can you try that one... though it's very strange that your original link showed NZ$99 when on my page is showed NZ$29.15!! Where in the world do you live?

Here are the 2 boxes that come up when I click on 'updates' in PSP Photo X2. I live in London, UK. Clicking on 'Buy Now' brings up the Corel website, as previously described.

Which gives a page with 12.99 British Pounds, 19.99 US dollars and 25 Australian Dollars .

I have tried BOTH links and all I get is 'Shopping Cart'- Your cart is empty.......?hartpaul wrote:Living in Australia I can comnfirm Ken's link :

I did send Corel a general email and attached the above image asking for an explanation, and I got a useless reply. They replied 'There is no record of your order', no explanation of the offer? I WOULD buy X6 for 12.99 GBP, but I can not get the right webpage link? This IS VERY deceiving for me! I will be contacting Corel at their UK call centre tomorrow, to find out what is going on. You can make purchases on the phone, so if they offer me X6 for 12.99 GBP then I WILL buy it.
A mystery why the web page links are not working for me? I will let you know tomorrow Monday, as to what they say. In the meantime I have sent another email to cs@cleverbridge.com . Thanks ALL for the help.

Maybe try a different browser like hartpaul did or clear the cache/cookies on your browser and see if that helps.

Re: PSP X2 to PSP X6 Update Offer?
I have just tried the link again from the offer boxes within PSP X2, and now I get a different offer price of 12.99 GBP! Maybe it took some time for the links to work. However, I am a bit worried if this is a genuine offer from Cleverbridge on behalf of Corel? It seems too good to be true? I want some confirmation from them that it is a genuine offer, and not some firewall breach, but would that affect others who have seen this offer in Oz and NZ? Hopefully I will get confirmation tomorrow.
Monday 9.30am An email reply from Cleverbridge tells me to refer this issue to Corel, so another useless reply. I have just spoken to a representative at Corel and they are NOT aware of this X2 to X6 offer and told me to treat it with CAUTION! They also told me to check my PC security!!! This offer sounds VERY suspicious to me!? I could go ahead with the purchase and see what happens, as 12.99 GBP is not a lot of money to loose!?
