AfterShot with RAW images from DJI Phantom 2 Vision+

Post by Ian-on-the-Trent »

Hello. I'm working with a DJI Phantom 2 Vision+ quadcopter and it's able to shoot photos in jpeg or raw (.png) formats. This is the claim from the DJI website:
  • - Adobe lens profile support.
    - An Adobe lens profile for barrel distortion removal is available for the DJI Phantom 2 Vision+ camera.
    - * Available as standard in the latest versions of Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Camera Raw for Photoshop and Adobe Premiere.
It's not so much the barrel distortion I'm trying to work with. I would like to be able to work with RAW photos. I downloaded an AfterShot Pro2 trial. Unfortunately, it can't read the .png file. Does anyone have any suggestions? I use Corel Videostudio Pro X7 for my video editing and I was hoping that Corel's photo software could handle the photo aspect. As a last resort I'd use UFRaw.

Thanks.
