Hi
Have you reset your program by re-naming the 18.0 folder to “18.0Copy”
That will generate a new 18.0 when you start VS, hopefully with a full library
X8 Working Folders/AutoMusic files/missing Graffiti template

Re: VideoStudio X8 Working Folders + AutoMusic random temp f
Hi tanguero
Back to Auto Music Wav files I have found some reasons why using different saving locations. And indeed does make it very confusing.
The Auto Music creates a Wav when “playing selected song”, seemingly to random folders. It also creates another Wav when adding to timeline, There is a pattern and it depends on the VSP being used, whether its:
1 / VSP is the first when opening Video Studio.
2 / the command File - New Project has been used.
3 / Then if File - Save has been applied
Each of the above will save the wav’s to a different folder when “Play selected song” is used…. And if you play selected song for other samples more wavs are made.
When we close the program the last use wav is deleted, I believe all should be deleted.
In addition other wav’s are created when “Add to Timeline” is used, these being saved to the ScoreFitter folder,
Yes I believe the above is wrong and all temporary Wav’s should be deleted.
As it stands it can get quite messy with all these files.

Re: X8 Working Folders/AutoMusic files/missing Graffiti temp
This thread ended up being three ... so here's an update on the missing Graffiti templates:
It took them a week of shuffling between two Level 1 support people, and finally they escalated it to a Level 2 (all this for sending me the "16 missing Graffiti templates located in the folders in VSPTemplate" after my telling them exactly what I needed!).
At that point I quickly got a Google Drive link from Corel with the Zip copy of the 16 templates in question, which I installed just fine in the manner explained earlier by lata.
So this aspect is resolved (for me, though I don't know if the 32-bit installation file has been fixed for future purchasers)--Trevor, do you have word from Corel on the Automusic file placement/non-deletion bug?

Hi tanguero
No just the original auto response that they had received the report.
