Can't open Hugin-generated TIFF

Post by phphph »

Hey

I have a folder with 16-bit TIFF files generated by Hugin's align_image_stack tool - ASP will not show them in thumbnail view at all and will claim that the folder is empty (if it contains only the problematic TIFF files and no other images).

Here's tiffinfo:
$ tiffinfo 20150311-105918-DSC_5722-16bit.tif0000.tif
TIFF Directory at offset 0xc027ba2 (201489314)
Subfile Type: (0 = 0x0)
Image Width: 6026 Image Length: 4020
Resolution: 150, 150 pixels/inch
Position: 0, 0
Bits/Sample: 16
Sample Format: unsigned integer
Compression Scheme: LZW
Photometric Interpretation: RGB color
Extra Samples: 1<unassoc-alpha>
Orientation: row 0 top, col 0 lhs
Samples/Pixel: 4
Rows/Strip: 43
Planar Configuration: single image plane
ImageFullWidth: 6026
ImageFullLength: 4020
ICC Profile: <present>, 25572 bytes

Any suggestions?

Try it uncompressed instead of LZW compressed (and compare the size ;-)
What ICC profile is it?

cheers
