Thanks for the reply - All disks are NTFS as they are all at least 1TB and I have 28GB of memory.
Other editors work but I have become fond of the VS.
I am surprised that nobody asked me to send a clip causing the problem so they could understand what is happening.
Maybe the VS is now serviced by a 13 year old kid working on the kitchen table.

Hi

Have you approached Corel support regarding the Canon 7D video files?

If you can upload to a sharing site, one Drive or Google work well, I will try your files in my pc, maybe I can replicate the crashes.

You could of course create a Smart Package of the suspect files, then I would see what edits you have applied, if any

And have a good Xmas and New Year
