Retaining text between photos

Post by Hathaway »

Hi

I want to put the same text on a series of photos but entering text on first photo and saving I have to repeat it all again on the next text, Is there a way of retaining the text?

Yes, the "remember text" button will auto-fill in the last text used.

I don't have PSP on this computer so I can't recall exactly where the button is, but somewhere on the tool options palette when you have the text tool selected there is a toggle button for "Remember text" I think it looks like a piece of paper with a starburst in the corner. Just hover over each button until you find the tool tip that says "Remember text"

When this is turned on, every time you add a new piece of text it'll use the same text as the last one you made. Now, this means that if you change the text once then that change is what will be used.

You can also record a script of you adding text to an image and then everytime you run that script it'll add the same text in the same location which you will need to be careful of. Don't want to be adding the text off screen if you use the script on a smaller image.

Many thanks LeviFiction

Found the button on the tool options palette . It looks something like a page(??) with a large "T" bottom right hand corner. Not very obvious . It starts off dull and only comes to life (brightens up) when you start to add text to the photo so that's my excuse for not spotting it earlier.

Again Many Many thanks LeviFiction
