Dear all,
Corel ScreenCap X7 does not start (i use windows 7). When I try to start from the windows start menu, nothing happens. When I start ScreenCap from VideoStudio Pro then the VS pro minimizes but ScreenCap does not come up. After a few seconds VS pro is maximized again. Is this a know issue. Any help is appreciated,
antoine

Re: Corel ScreenCap X7 does not start
Hi antoine
No there is no know issue with the screen capture not working.
I have just tried using both options and works ok for me.
I don’t know what to suggest other than re-installing the program?
First there is an option to re-set the program, this involves re-naming the 17.0 folder then starting VS will recreate the folder.
How….
Enter this %appdata% to the Start - Search should find the Roaming folder.
Navigate to:-
C:\Users\User Name\AppData\Roaming\Ulead Systems\Corel VideoStudio Pro (x64)\17.0
Re-name 17.0 to “17.0 old”
This will reset your library but you can always revert back to the original folder.

Re: Corel ScreenCap X7 does not start
Hi,
Thanks. I tried renaming the v17.0 folder but that didn't help. Perhaps I will try to re-install later. Let you know,

I uninstalled version X6 and reinstalled X7, Capture seems to work now. Thanks,
