Smart Proxy not working in VS X8

Smart Proxy not working in VS X8
I am not sure if I do something wrong but Smart Proxy is not functioning in VS X8. I'm totally used to the settings and procedures and I still have VS X7 installed. When I drag the same files into VS X7 it creates the proxy files but not with the new version. Very disappointing!

I uninstalled and reinstalled VSX8 and now its creating proxy files. Have no idea why it behaved in that way.
