Hi guys,
Ran into a new problem today. When I play my VSP file in VSP, I have video, but no audio. I can play the .mov files in media player without any problem but as soon as I pull them into VSP I have no sound whether I play them as just clips, or place them in the timeline and watch it as a project. Nothing is on mute, and the volume control is up. The auto music files that I have in the timeline play fine, it's just the audio within the .mov files. I didn't have this problem last night, everything worked fine until this morning. Worth noting - when I drag the file to the timeline and select OPTIONS, for whatever reason, I cannot split the audio out. It's as if VSP isn't recognizing there's audio to these files. On the other hand, any video files I have that are .mpg files, those I can pull into the project and play just fine. It seems it's specific to just .mov files but I'm not sure what changed from last night to this morning. Not sure what's going on. Any thoughts?

Re: No audio in VSP7
Can you please right click on one of the problem .mov files in the timeline or library window and copy ALL of its Properties here, though of course the audio Properties are probably the most important. Or just take a screen grab of the Properties box and upload it here as an attachment. I ask since .mov is just a wrapper extension and can contain widely different formats.
Where did the .mov files come from? What version of Quicktime do you have on your computer?

Re: No audio in VSP7
I think that might be the problem. When I searched for Quicktime Player, I get an error message pop up that says Please install Apple application support" so now I guess I need to go to Apple and figure out what happened.

Re: No audio in VSP7
I re-installed QuickTime and am back on track. Audio has been restored to the .mov files within all of my vsp projects. Thank you Ken, for mentioning Quick Time - it pointed me in the right direction, I appreciate it!
