OK I know I'm getting old but!
I just installed PSPx7 onto my work desktop. (I have it running on my travel laptop with no issues). I created a custom workspace identical to what I have on my laptop.
The problem - When I open 'View/Full Screen Preview' everything works ok. However when I return/close 'Full Screen Preview' my custom work space has gone. Well not all gone. Just my custom tool bar. The Tools options bar is also disappearing. I've check everything beside my laptop settings and can't find where I left my brain!
Any ideas on what's going on?
I have no idea if it's related but I have to click on my desktop icon two or three times to get PSPx7 to start.
Maybe I can smell a reinstall coming.
regards

Re: Help. PSPx7 custom workspace problem
I can verify the same result on XP and PSP X7 32 bit . The Custom toolbar disappears, yet is still ticked uner the View > Toolbars. To get it back I have to untick, then do View > Toolbars and tick it again.
This does not happen with X6 or X4 so I suspect it is a bug with X7. I have the SP installed as well - 17.1 0.72

Re: Help. PSPx7 custom workspace problem
I've wasted a lot of time on this. It's bugging me and I'm not about to let a pile metal and plastic beat me!!!!
I've got it working! Sort of!!!! I have three computers with PSPx7 installed on them. My two laptops work fine. Win 7 and Win 8.1. I've been hesitant to install x7 on my work desk top as it's key to my work. (I've been using x6). But install it I did yesterday. Copying all my settings and menus from my i5 8gig win 8.1 laptop.
I drag the Standard toolbar and place it vertically down the left side of the screen. Then place/move the current vertical Tools tool bar alongside it to the right. I create simple custom menu containing just 4 adjustments that I use all the time. Levels, Fill/Clarity, Curves and USM. Drag it vertically below the Tools tool bar. To this point everything works fine on all three computers. However on the Win 7 desktop anytime I use View/Full Screen preview and then close it the Tools tool bar and my custom menu disappear. Gone. Poof. If I go to Workspace and reload my saved workspace everything is fine again until I use View/Full Screen preview again.
What I want to know is why does it all work fine on two laptops but wont work on the desktop?
If I keep PSP's default workspace and create my custom menu and place it anywhere then all works just fine. It has something to do with the move/placement of either the Standard tool bar or the Tools tool bar.
Can't do a screen shot at the moment.

Re: Help. PSPx7 custom workspace problem
On My XP, the installed toolbar is in its default position on the left side. I have now fond that if the custom toolbar is floating then it disappears. If it is docked (goes above the current tool optons ) then it remains.
Tried same with the Script toolbar and it disappears as well but this time the Script toolbar was unticked and ticking it again showed it whereas with the Custom bar I had to untick then retick to get it back.
