Transparency with keyframes

Post by queman »

Hi All,

Using VSPX7 I'm trying do find a way to change the opacity of an overlay using key frames. I know it can be done using Custom Motion, but then other effects can't be applied. Under Pan and Zoom there is a transparency option at the bottom, but it is just a simple fade to a solid color. Is there any other way?

Thanks,
Queman

Custom motion will also do pan and zoom at the same time - so why not use one function to all three together.

Thanks Brian,

I have had another look at Custom Motion and it may work for me. I have found another option and that is the New Blue PIP filter. If you set beginning and end key frames to 100% you can then adjust the opacity as you wish using key frames.
