ASP2 Crash Deletes All Nef Files in Directory

ASP2 Crash Deletes All Nef Files in Directory
First time using ASP2 for any length of time on my Win 7 laptop. I was entering some IPTC info for a NEF file when ASP2 crashed. I rebooted my laptop and restarted ASP2 but no files were found in the directory I was working in. Checked with WE and sure enough, files were gone. Checked Recycle Bin and sure enough, there they were. Is this a known bug or something new.
