DVD Chapters do not populate into the template

I am using VS9 and I am trying to create the menus for my DVD file. When I am ready to burn a DVD I select the chapters I want to create - in my example i have selected 7 chapters. I then select next but find that the chapters I have selected are not seen by the template. It only picks one of the chapters. How do I get the six chapters into the DVD menu?

I suspect that what you are seeing is the main page menu which will only show one thumbnail if you only have one video file in the timeline - after you have clicked next and get to the screen with only one thumbnail on it click the drop down at the top of that dialogue window against "Currently Displayed Menu" and change it to the alternative which will propably be your project name - then you can customise the chapter menu.

Also when you play the final DVD you have to select that single thumbnail to get to the chapter menu.

In the MENU step, look at the button below the preview window on the right side Advanced Settings

That button will let you select whether to have a TITLE Menu, and/or a CHAPTER Menu. You don't have to have both.

The TITLE menu is for all the different video clips in your project. The CHAPTER menu is for different "markers" you set as chapters within a particular video clip.
