Hello fine friends. I am befuddled. I am importing music files into Videostudio Pro 5, which play just fine in the 'Clip' mode. However, when I try and play the whole 'Project', there is no music??!! The 'freebie' Smartsound tracks work just fine, but with these imported tracks, they only play in 'Clip' mode and not as a whole project?? Suggestions?? Please help!

Apologies for the delay in my reply……….
Can you give details/ properties of your files, you say you are importing Music files, if MP3 then the Lame codec can cause problems for some editors.
You are best to convert your music to Wav
Other sound issues.
I have noticed that after adding a FX filter the option FX remains selected,
If I play in Clip mode I don’t hear sound, selecting the top icon for Media allows the sound to play.
I don’t know if this helps.
I have simply got used to selecting another option to close the FX library page.
Also
Mpeg4 type video, with some types some audio does not play, adjusting the sound level from 100% up or down one % seems to fix that
