Hi

to the right of that bar is a digital clock, setting that will set the curser position to frame accuracy

Thanks Trevor, but I have tried that. Changing that only seems to affect the Play position. The orange trim cursors don't seem to be affected.

Click the square bracket and the "trim" cursor will move to the play position.

Exactly what is it you are trying to do and why are you doing editing in the Share mode and not in the Edit mode?

Thanks for the tip about the square bracket. That seems to be what I needed. I'm not finding any of this documented in the User's Guide, FWIW. I am in Edit mode, not Share mode.

Did you download the pdf Users Guide for VS X7? It is covered on page 87-88
