Hi everyone
1.Many folk advise unchecking smart render during video file creation to help with the audio OOS problem.
I have tried this, and sure enough it does seem to help with the audio, but I have also noticed the odd speeding up of the video-Charlie Chaplin like.
Has anyone else noticed this? Is there a degree of trade off here?
2. When you create the video file, does it matter whether the project is displayed in timeline or storyboard mode?
Many thanks for your time

Normally you should not turn off smart render. If you do you will find it takes hours to render your video as it will render everything rather than just the bits you have changed.
You can try turning off smart render if you discover an OOS problem
For THAT file which may have been caused by a variety of reasons unique to that particular piece of footage.
When you create the video the timeline / storyboard view makes no difference.
