NewBlue Effects still SLOW

Post by qtrim »

I had hoped the slow NewBlue effects would be fixed in X8, but they are not. I ran a test on X7 of 1 second (30 frames) 1920x1080 clip with the Touchup filter applied. It took 2:30 to render. I ran the same 1 sec clip on X8 and it took 2:25. So, for those type of filters, X8 is no help.

Running 64bit, Windows 7, Core2Quad 2.83mhz with 4GB or ram and nothing else running.

Since there nothing else in this update that interests me, I'll be using the 30 day money back guarantee.

Well, Corel's second line support staff have at least duplicated this issue and acknowledged its not right. They have forwarded it to the 'engineers' so we'll see what happens.
