Smart render output speed

Post by stunik »

Hi, I have looked around the forum and can't find anything related but this is my first visit so apologies if I have missed it.

I am trying to join a number of clips taken on a Samsung QF20 HD camcorder using smart render with VS X7, using first file settings. Below are details the properties section gives me. Everything seems to work and the resulting file gives the same properties, but when I play it back in VS or media player the video plays back at double speed, but the sound remains as per the original. I can get it to work without smart render, but I need to do this quickly, so need smart render. Is there something I am missing, or is there an issue at 50fps?

Camera setting 720p (50fps

PAL double (50 fps)
MPEG-4 Files
24 bits, 1280 x 720, 50 fps
Frame-based
H.264 Main Profile Video: 12002 Kbps, 16:9
48000 Hz, 16 Bit, Stereo
MPEG AAC Audio: 128 Kbps

Camera setting 1080i (50fps)

PAL (25 fps)
MPEG-4 Files
24 bits, 1920 x 1080, 25 fps
Upper Field First
H.264 Main Profile Video: 15285 Kbps, 16:9
48000 Hz, 16 Bit, Stereo
MPEG AAC Audio: 128 Kbps
