Btach conversion in tools

Post by dongle »

VS 8 does not likempeg 2 files produced from a LIGOS plug in in Premiere 6. It always renders them when macking a dvd. This take a lot of time. I thought that when SmartRender was switched on it wouldn't do this. Anyone know why?

I tried to render the AVI clips of my original premiere project to MPEG using the batch convert option in VS 8 tools but it will only render to NTSC format and not to PAL. Can I actually render to PAL format.?

It sounds as if you are not following the procedure recommended in the top sticky post. In particular, you should make a video file of your project first (SHARE/Create Video - not Batch Convert), then, with an empty timeline, make your DVD. If you must change properties, do it when creating your project video file.

You must also ensure that you click on the box with 'Do not convert compliant MPEG files' which can be found in the little cog-wheel icon in the bottom left of the burning module screen.
