Hello!
I'm not able to install and start AfterShot 2 Pro 64 bit on Mac OSX 10.10.2 due to application (or rather developer) not being signed by Apple.
How can I resolve this problem?

Go to System Preferences/Security/General and select "Allow apps downloaded from: Anywhere"

I understand that i can do that. But by doing this i essentially circumventing part of the security approach that makes Mac at least somewhat safer than other platforms.
I guess the real question is why Corel would not obtain a certificate from Apple being a pretty large developer, when even individuals coding for Mac quite often sign their applications with Apple certificate.
