TripleScoop Music Corrupted
There are 17 TripleScoop music tracks, but whilst all play in preview, only 5 can be dragged to the music timeline.
The 5 that can be dragged are
alihandal_firefly.mp3
danrphillipson_lightsintheskyinstrumental.mp3
royashen_eclipseinstrumental.mp3
ryanmusique_amazinggrace.mp3
sparrow_keepitsimple.mp3
For all the remaining tracks, the following error message appears, when trying to drag into the music track, anyone else see this

Re: TripleScoop Music Corrupted
Before doing at complete uninstall/reinstall, I thought I would try converting the Triple Scoop mp3 files to .wav, in the .wav format all tracks can be dragged into the music timeline and play correctly, so that's the way I will leave it.
On the Triple Scoop website I noticed that when purchasing, you have the option of .mp3 or .wav formats

Re: TripleScoop Music Corrupted
I was under the perhaps mistaken belief that Triple Scoop tracks were customisable like SmartSound ones. Therefore I wonder if, when you convert them, they retain their customisability...? Yes, they may be offered in either mp3 or wav format, but the wav format may have already been tweaked by Triple Scoop to work with their system -- whereas yours are "home made"...

Re: TripleScoop Music Corrupted
I don't think so Ken, Auto Music is Corels equivalent to SmartSound, I could find no reference to customisability on the Triple Scoop web site, they appear to be just normal music tracksKen Berry wrote:I was under the perhaps mistaken belief that Triple Scoop tracks were customisable like SmartSound ones. Re: TripleScoop Music Corrupted
Yes the Triple scoop music is just a collection of free music - as Robert says the equivalent to the old Smartsound customisable music is just called "Auto Music" on it's icon under the preview window and although I haven't explored every single option in there there does appear to be far more than 17 choices - and all much more sensibly labelled than the previous Smartsound tracks were

Re: TripleScoop Music Corrupted
Hi
The TSM samples are simply MP3 so should not be giving problems.
There should be no reason to re-install the program???
You could try re-setting the library or re-setting the program by re-naming the folder 18.0
Like Brian and Ken I have no problems with those samples.
Robert I am uploading the samples to your One Drive sharing folder.
You can import those to a new library page to test.

Re: TripleScoop Music Corrupted
Thanks Trevor,
I downloaded and installed the 17 Triple Scoop mp3 tracks and they can all be dragged into the music track, so that confirms that the original tracks are corrupted
So I now have them working in both mp3 and .wav

Re: TripleScoop Music Corrupted
Hi Robert
If the original files were corrupt, how did you convert to Wav?
Maybe a corrupt library, seems strange.
Are you able to insert the originals to a new library page?

Re: TripleScoop Music Corrupted
Hi Trevor,
I could only go by the error message the the files were corrupt, (11 from 17) yet they all played in preview and all played in VLC, so I assumed that any corruption was not due to the music tracks themselves.
I converted them to .wav using FormatFactory.
At your suggestion, I created a new library folder and imported the original mp3 files to it, (I had moved the original mp3 tracks to a separate folder before installing those provided by you) now all 17 original tracks in the new library folder can be dragged to the music timeline.
So the original Triple Scoop music files could not have installed correctly when installing VSX8
