Radius of circle is limited

I have no problem drawing the circle but, when I try to adjust its size using the radius boxes in the edit mode, I am limited to 1000 pixels in X and Y. The image measures 2400 pixels square so I should be able to size the circle to 1200 X 1200 pixels. I can grab one of the nodes and stretch the circle to the approximate size I want but, the numbers in the radius boxes don't change. I can enter numbers smaller then 1000 and the radius gets smaller but, if I try to enter a larger number, the box turns red. I've never had this problem before.
Could someone tell me whats going on?

PSP11 also has this, I think they just needed a maximum value for the radius and set 1000 as the limit for the number box.

But you can set the radius higher using scripts or by dragging it out to the size you prefer. But it would be something to bring up in the suggestions. Determine if the number box absolutely has to have a maximum value, and if so set it to something reasonable like half the Width and Height of the current image or something.
