remove scissor cut

Post by moodymike »

If I have a shot that has been marked with several scissor cuts, how can I remove these apart from the "going back marker"?

how do you mean "marked" with scissor cuts - has it been cut or not

I removed the shot between the scissor cuts Into the shot library to be used as a cutaway leaving the original take in the movie. I now wish to run the original shot without it being recognised as separate shots

I would just delete the three clips and insert the original video again - which will be one piece.

Hi

Try this…
When you cut a clip it creates two clips, delete the second clip.
Now select the remaining clip, viewing the bar below the preview screen will show the clip length as a white bar.
Dragging the Trim Markers will resize the clip, adding frames.
Set the curser to the far right – F4 or Square Brackets (Mark Out) will repair the entire clip.
The above can also be applied to the library clip.

Otherwise

From the timeline drag the end yellow trim bar to resize the clip.
