I have surmised that Protexis ( a past Corel licensing program ) is slowing down my system. I am gathering that Protexis came onto my system via Corel PSPx3. It appears there is no longer even a Protexis website. I have disabled Protexis Licensing V2 and Protexis Licensing V2 x64 in Services.
I have located an instructional http://www.mydigitallife.info/how-to-di ... rvice-exe/
1) Does the link/document look like a correct procedure?
2) Since I have Protexis V2 it appears as though I should pay attention to the very bottom of the guide;
3) However, I only have Corel PSPx6 and Corel VSP Ultimate x7 currently on my computer - AND - Corel WordPerfect Office11
4) Do I have to go to each individual program and do what the instructional says?
5) Do I have to do any of the steps above the V2 area?
OR - SHOULD I LEAVE WELL ENOUGH ALONE? I CANNOT AFFORD A CRASH AT THIS TIME BUT I FELL STRONGLY THAT IT MIGHT HELP TO GET PROTEXIS OFF OF MY COMPUTER.
Any direction/input is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Dekade

Please do not double post. You posted this exact same question just two days ago: http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php ... 55#p301955
