Hi,
I can find the KPT Collection in my PSP X7 Ultimate (32 bit) menu, but can't find the Perfectly Clear or Creative Content anywhere. When I tried to download and install the message said Creative Content was already installed., so where is it? Also, how do you get Perfectly Clear installed? I understand its a pretty useful plugin. Thanks,
Jim

Re: Perfectly Clear and Creative Content
Depending on what specials were on offer you may have received different extras.
In my first order in August 2014 I received download links to:
PSPX7_Ult.exe
FaceFilterStudio3_PSPX7Ult.exe
Athentech_PerfectlyClear_PSPX7Ult.exe
Corel_CreativeCollection_PSPX7Ult.exe
Corel_KPT.exe
PSPX7_ScriptGuide.exe
PSPX7_Corel_CreativeContent.exe
This was the Ultimate bundle which had the Creative Collection as an extra.
In my second order in January 2015 I received download links in my email for:
PSPX7_PF.exe
PSPX7_Corel_KPT.exe
PSPX7_ScriptGuide.exe
PSPX7_Corel_CreativeContent.exe
FastFlick_Photo.exe
PSP_Creative_Effects_Bundle.zip
This was the standard version of PSP.
As you can see, apart from the Creative Effects Bundle they are all .exe files and need to be installed. It would be nice if the Corel information also included some information on where these were installed and how to access them.
The Basic install of X7 gives you a limited number of Brushes , Picture Tubes, Picture Frames etc.
eg. 10 brushes, 10 Picture Tubes, 10 Picture Frames, 10 Textures
When Creative Content is installed these are increased-
eg. 65 brushes, 155 Picture Tubes, 148 Picture Frames, 49 Textures.
When Creative Collection is installed you get more Brushes and some textures and backgrounds which are placed elsewhere
-
eg Brushes 179, Textures 73
PSP creates user saved locations for Brushes etc, and Program installed locations for Brushes etc.
You can find these locations by using the file locations dialog box in any Corel version
File > Preferences > File Locations
The Creative Collection Includes Folders for Designs, Flowers, Nature, Sunsets, Textures.
Do a search for CGS31868.jpg which is the first file in the Designs folder.
On my XP it is found in
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\My Pictures\Ultimate X7 Backgrounds\Designs
Windows 7 and Windows 8
C:\Users\Public\Pictures\Ultimate X7 Backgrounds\Designs
With Athentech Perfectly Clear you use the Plugins section
Effects > Plugins > Athentech Imaging > Perfectly Clear
Creative Content , Creative Collection, Creative Effects - sounds like they are trying to be creative , but wish they could be more creative with the names to avoid confusion.

Re: Perfectly Clear and Creative Content
Thanks for your informative reply hartpaul. It appears that I missed out on Perfectly Clear when I bought PSP this past October. Pretty happy using the Smart Photo Fix and One Step Photo Fix anyway.

Re: Perfectly Clear and Creative Content
PSP X7 Ultimate should include Perfectly Clear Plugin, which should appear in the program under Effects, Plugins, Athentech Perfectly Clear. It should also include a separate program of Facefilter 3. That's why the Ultimate version costs more. If you don't have these programs, call Corel Customer Support.
Re: Perfectly Clear and Creative Content
Thanks to Rondo I was really wondering where the extra goodies were. I had access to downloads of KPT Collection, PaintShop Pro Scripting Guide, and Creative Content from an email that Corel sent me after registering the product. But, still didn't have Perfectly Clear and FaceFilter3. Finally went to the Download folder on my pc and there they were in a folder called Ultimate Bonus Content. In addition to the two aforementioned programs, the folder also has Corel Creative Collection. Guess I've got it all now...
