"Adjust" Tab is not showing photo preview

Hello,

I am using the 30 day free trial to see if I like this product, Corel PaintShop Pro X7. The last version I had was X3, so it is time for an upgrade if I like it.

Here is the problem I immediately came across....I opened a photo in the Edit Tab. I saw my photo preview. This looked much like my Version X3 that I am used to. I then clicked on the Adjust tab. My photo preview vanished, and all the options on "File" to open a photo are grayed out. If I move between the "Manage" and "Edit" tabs, my photo preview stays. As soon as I click the "Adjust" Tab, my photo preview is gone, most everything is grayed out, and even if I go back to Edit or Manage, my photo preview is then gone there, as well.

What am I doing wrong?

Try this:
1. Open PSPX7 and switch to Manage mode
2. In the left hand section switch from Collections to Computer.
3. Navigate to your folder (I placed a test folder on the desktop to make it easier to navigate to it).
You should find your screen full of thumbs .
4. Now to the right of the 5 grey stars near the top click the Preview Mode.
5. Choose one of the pics and you view its preview. You should see the Organiser below with the first 9 or more images in that folder.
6. Switch to Adjust and it should carry over there.
7. Switch to Edit mode and again the image should be loaded.
8. Switching back to Adjust mode and I can still see that image and likewise when I go back to Manage mode.
9. Switching direct from Manage to Edit mode should also work and load that image.

My version shows as 17.1.0.72 ( Help > About)

Is your version working like this? Or where does it have problems

THANK YOU SO MUCH! I'm sorry it took me awhile to reply but I got busy and was not able to try this until now. You probably just made a sale for Corel! (You need a commission! Ha, ha. I guess you get my "thanks" as payment!) I need to go play with it now that it is working.

I have followed the above directions and I still cannot open my picture in adjust. If I open it in manage it automatically moves to the edit tab. I cannot even stay in the manage tab. Edit seems to be the only working tab. This is becoming very frustrating. I have it set on computer. I have preview checked on the box that opens with my photo file in it.
