is there a simple fade transition?

Post by delboy007 »

I do mainly photo albums and I find the fancy transition very irratating after a while. I like a simple fade into the next picture but as far as I can see the only simple transition is fade into black which is great if you want a black screen between each photo but I don't (does anyone?) . Is there anyway to get a simple transition from one photo to another?

Ummmm.... FX Crossfade.... which is what I use 99% of the time, and set it in Preferences as the default transition...

It is really a good idea to take time to explore X7. Just click on icons and see what they give you. Much of what is supplied, I would not use but there are some gems amongst the transitions and effects. You should try them on a bit of video or photos and see what happens.
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not so sure.

On a new user level, I agree.
But crossfade is a more accurate and professional term.
