If your cameras are capable of shooting 1080p video at either 30 or 60 fps, what factors influence which you'd choose?
For some reason I was under the impression that 60 fps was "better" than 30 fps, but maybe I'm wrong. Is 60 better for faster moving subjects? Does it allow you to later do different effects that you couldn't do with 30 fps? It must fill up storage twice as fast, right?
In other words, what are the pros and cons of shooting in either speed?
And is it an issue to mix 30 fps clips with 60 fps clips within the same video?
Thanks for helping this beginner with video.

Re: 1080p - 30 vs 60 fps?
No problem mixing 30fps with 60fps video clips in VS
I use 60fps whenever possible as the video is more fluid and one can slowmo any section and still have high quality. SD cards are pretty cheap any more, so get one big enough so there is no worry about file size... Al

Re: 1080p - 30 vs 60 fps?
Thanks Al. Most of my cameras can do 1080p 60fps except for one that'll only do 30fps. I'm glad to hear that mixing the results into one video wouldn't cause any problems. I'll use 60fps whenever possible.
