PSP7 Images Rotate upon Loading

I have PSP 7 Ultimate, running on Microsoft Window 7 Home Edition. When I load an image that I recorded in landscape mode, sometimes (but not all the time) the image is rotated to the portait mode. This is very annoying and I would like to fix it. I've been through the manual and looked at preferences, but can not find how to turn this feature off. Can anyone help?

If you are using a tablet or a smartphone and you turn the camera when taking the photo, it will present that way when viewed.

Can you determine some consistency in the rotation of the images. You say that they rotate sometimes. If you have an image that rotates and you reload the same image many times does it always rotate or only part of the time.
If all the time then it indicates something about that image, if it sometimes rotates and other times does not then it may indicate something about your version of PSP or something you are doing at one time when it rotates and not at other times.
Basically you need to be a detective and work out when and what you do for it to rotate. Does it rotate consistently in one session or in all sessions.
