Vector Layer Text Drops After Saving

I AM USING PAINT SHOP PRO 8 (NOT X..). THE OLD PAINT SHOP PRO 8...

I'm creating coupons from scratch.
Coupon image size is 762x608 @ 300ppi.
To start I create a vector image.
Coupon has lines of text.
I create each text section of the coupon as a separate vector layer (name it, color code, etc...), so I can go back and change the coupon wording in each text section separately if need be.

Then I...

Save coupon in .psp extension without flattening layers.
Close file.
Reopen file...and then the problem is...some text sections drop down a pixel. Why???

It's imperative I don't get this spontaneous movement of text since text is sandwiched between two lines I made with line tool. if text drops down a pixel it looks too low and not vertically centerd between the lines.

I searched the internet trying to find someone who had this same problem with PSP8 but to no avail. Any ideas? Was this a bug? If so, has it been fixed?

Also, If I save the file in which the text dropped down a pixel, then reopen it, sometimes the text continues to fall further down the page by a pixel.

Is it possible for you to provide a little more information by way of images, before saving and after saving as a PspImage please.

I use PSP8. If you can post an example PSP file, I'll give it a try for you. I've never heard of this problem before but then I don't use vector text all that much or I just never noticed it. Which version of PSP8 do you have? There was a whole new version published later to fix a bunch of problems and all registered customers were sent new CDs in the mail. I'm pretty sure that 8.10 is the final version.
