Hello,
The type of my original clips on the timeline is m2ts (as come from my Sony camcord). After rendering, the type of the rendered file is m2t.
I would like to know what is the deffrence between those two types.
Thank you,
Abraham Zehavi

Google it. There are lots of explanations but basically they are the same with just different extensions.

Re: m2ts vs m2t
Um... well no, not quite. Your original m2ts is Blu-Ray compliant transport stream (ts) mpeg-2. However curiously enough it also includes AVCHD mpeg-4 encoded with the H.264 codec, which is also Blu-Ray compliant.
On the other hand, m2t is HDV mpeg-2. I film in the latter format with my HDV-compliant Canon HV20 camcorder. It is not Blu-Ray compliant, though easily converted into .m2ts...
I am interested, though, in how you arrived at this outcome. What did you choose as the output format: to my mind it could only have been HDV...

Re: m2ts vs m2t
The output format which I have choose is: AVC/H.264, in the VS x7 program.
Afterwards, I copy the m2t file to a mobile disk, so I can watch it in my TV through a media streamer.
Is there any advantage to one of those two types (m2ts or m2t)? I assume that not all the streamers recognize all the video types.
If the m2ts is preferable, is there a way to get it in x7?
Thanks
