PaintShop Photo Pro x3 Can't add text!!!...

paint shop photo pro x3

Have been using this version for several years with no problems...Tried to add text to a photo using the full editor and the program hangs...

Corel PaintShop Photo Pro x3 has stopped working...
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windowns will close the program and notify you if a solution is available....

I have tried a new file (eg. blank)....
have tried a previously edited (x3) file...
have tried a new photo file...

Same problem every time....Never had this problem before...Nothing done to the computer, except a mandatory Windows (7) update...

Any ideas on WHY this is happening or HOW I can fix it?....

Sometimes PSP gets out of sync with itself and needs a reset and X3 was one of the buggiest versions I've seen yet. Re-setting might help you with this situation. The instructions for re-setting the workspace can be found here. http://corel.force.com/index/articles/e ... 000000L3Ro

The instructions mention X4 & X5 but should work for X3.
