Adding the same transition effect to all slides

Post by EmsAk620 »

Is there any possible way to do this?
I'd much appreciate it if it doesn't involve manually applying the effect each single slide, of course.

Thanks!

yes you can do that in the timeline

with your slides in the timeline open the transitions library panel and select the transition you want to add

now at the very top of the library pane look for 4 little icons - - the first is a star with a plus sign - and the second is the one you want - click on it and the selected transition will be placed across every clip join

OR

if you are wanting to do it as you add the slides to the timeline the first go to "Settings >> Preferences" and when the preferences window opens click on the little 'edit' tab at the top of it.

now at the bottom of that page look to the options to automatically add transitions and to select which one - set what you want there and OK out of it
