VideoStudio X7 - Application cannot be initialized

I just relieved my VideoStudio X7. Installed- but when I open the product it gives the 'cannot initialize application- screen resolution not sufficient etc etc - " I had read before that a user had gone to properties- compatibility-settings and clicked on the disable display scaling option, and it had worked. My problem- that 'setting' section in compatibility window is not even active in my installation. And my screen resolution is 1366 x 768 (which should work) I have checked other resolutions as well. Nothing works! Pleas help!!!!!

go to Control Panel >> appearance >> display - and look for an option similar to the attachment below (slightly different in different windows version)

If the dot is in anything at all - other than 100% - then regardless of your screen resolution VideoStudio will not start
