Video Studio X7 Uploads not good quality to You tube.

I downloaded Video X7 ultimate off the website, would service pack 1 be installed in it already?
When I upload Video on You tube. My video is blurry almost like the resolution is messed up or something . I didn't have this trouble with video studio x5.
If anyone can help me this would be great. My you tube name is pri24511. My recent video that I put on is the one from video X7. Not good quality at all.

Video is fine until it uploads to You tube.

Welcome to the forums!

You can tell if SP1 has been included in your download by going to Settings > About. My version number, for instance, is 17.1.0.22 -- and the "1" indicates that SP1 has been installed.

A number of users have reported difficulties using Video Studio's upload to YouTube function. Have you tried just making your video in VS, then logging in separately to YouTube and uploading it the "normal" way?

What is VS? Sorry. I have tried dropping and dragging and through the Web button in Corel. Both are giving me Issues with the quality of the video .
I don't have windows movie maker on my new computer either so I have to learn this one.
I have a really good gaming computer. Lots of learning on everything including windows 8.1.
I hope I can get this resolved
going to check and see if it has service pack 1
Can Correl Video Studio be installed on any drive or just the C.

VS = Video Studio - the programme you are using

Ken is suggesting that you use VideoStudio to edit and make your video

but do not use any part of VideoStudio to load it to Youtube

After you make your video go to Youtube and log in - then use the "Upload" button in Youtube to upload the video to Youtube.

Yep that video looks pretty bad

What are the properties of your original video file.?
Right click a clip in the timeline and choose properties, what are they?

Your YouTube seems to indicate using GoPro?
Ken is our resident GoPro expert and will advise on your workflow…….

Do you know if your Project Properties match your video files properties.

Go to F6 Settings Preferences- General tab make sure Show Messages when inserting………. is ticked.
Start a new project and add your video to the top track, you should get a message to match your properties, hopefully.

Render the project to Share – Same as Project Properties or Same as First clip, that should render the project using the original videos properties, retaining the original quality.

Play to check quality, then upload to YT.

As I have said elsewhere many times, I have never uploaded to YT in my life! But I understand it would have no trouble at all with high def mp4, which is what the GoPro produces. So I would follow lata's suggestion about making sure you have the message box ticked, and then when you finish editing, go to Share > Same as Project Properties --- though you could also choose "Same As First Video Clip" if indeed one of your GoPro clips was the first in the project. Then when you have your new mp4, upload it manually to YT without using VS for that...

128 bit rate
29 Frames per second
48 KHZ
16.9
I have a power point jpeg in front of my video for my intro.
Hopefully I can get it the same.
I have never had an issue before, this is whats mind boggling.
I'm not uploading directly from the video software . i go to U tube directly and find my file that way.

Is it possible that the quality of the original is not upto standard.

Are you able to upload the original to youtube before editing in Video Studio.
Simply upload the original video file.

If that plays within YouTube with good quality then clearly the editing is causing problems.

Can you upload your original to a sharing site, Maybe use Windows Microsoft One Drive,

Provide a link here…
Then we can download and test the video file.

I will try the original too.
I just noticed my monitor doesn't have the HDMI Cord in the back of the monitor . Would this have anything to do with the videos having poor quality? It is an HDMI monitor. 1920X1080 23.6"

well it looks quite poor on my pc, so I would say its the Video quality, either the way its been rendered, or YT is messing it up.
Hence my suggestion to upload the original, at least that rules out any editing.
